WHAT: MnChallengers Fall Picnic
WHERE: Elm Creek Park Reserve – Picnic Shelter “Deer”
WHEN: Monday September 3, 2012 (Labor Day)
TIME: 11:30
DETAILS: We have reserved the park shelter “Deer” for our Fall picnic! MnChallengers will be providing the main dish for our picnic and ask that everyone bring an hors d’oeuvre or dessert to share please (electricity is available for crock pots).
CRUISE: Main cruise will start from Fury South Saint Paul. Will meet at 11:30am and leave at 12:00 sharp. If anyone would like to form their own mini cruise if you do not live near SSP, please feel free to branch off and meet us there! Arrival time approximately 12:45-1pm.
PICNIC: If you are unable to do the cruise but would still like to come join us at the picnic, we will eat at 2pm.
THE PARK: In the area that this picnic shelter is, there is a volleyball pit, a playground, and a swimming pond. The swimming pond is a fee of $3 for the day, this is the last day the pond will be open and it is open until 8pm. It is man-made, filtered, and chlorinated.There are bike and walking trails. Pets are not permitted in the picnic areas. We have the picnic shelter reserved for the entire day until 9pm.
